This is my third half marathon and has by far been the hardest so far! I wasn’t sure I would make it. There have been tears, swearing, and plenty of doubts. But I just keep showing up to training runs. At the 6 mile long run it finally clicked. So why do I keep going? Because there are many who wish they could run even 1 mile and can’t. I run for my family, for my friends and neighbors who have fought or who are fighting cancer every. single. day. I run because I can.
